Professional Invitation Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to SpyList’s professional invitation system, including /professional/, /professional/confirm-interest/, and related professional invitation pages.

This Privacy Policy explains how SpyList collects, uses, stores, and protects information submitted by selected professionals, businesses, and authorised representatives.

1. Information We Collect

SpyList may collect the following information: professional name, business name, category, city, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, address or area/locality, service details, professional description, selected recognition tier, payment-related details, transaction reference, payment verification status, website link, Instagram link, Google profile link, social media links, photos, raw video footage, certificates or professional documents where necessary, and other information submitted for profile preparation.

SpyList may also collect invitation access details, confirmation status, timestamps, form submission records, content readiness status, profile preparation status, editing status, publishing status, and internal notes related to the invitation process.

2. How We Use Information

SpyList uses submitted information to verify invitation records, process interest confirmation, contact selected professionals, review category suitability, prepare professional profiles, write editorial content, prepare video content, create recognition assets, verify payment status, manage publishing readiness, coordinate launch planning, maintain edition records, respond to support requests, and comply with legal or operational requirements.

3. Google Sheets and Internal Storage

SpyList may store invitation and confirmation data using Google Sheets and related Google tools.

This may include professional details, category information, confirmation fields, payment status, content status, launch status, notes, and timestamps.

SpyList uses this information for internal workflow, confirmation tracking, content preparation, and edition management.

4. Content Submitted for Publication

Photos, videos, profile details, business information, website links, social media links, Google profile details, and service information submitted to SpyList may be used for public profile preparation and publishing after official confirmation.

Once published, some information may become publicly visible on SpyList website pages, The City Standard edition pages, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Shorts, Reels, or other official SpyList channels where suitable.

5. Payment Information

SpyList may collect payment status, payment amount, payment mode, transaction ID, payment verification details, receipt number, and related payment records.

SpyList does not ask for card passwords, OTPs, banking passwords, or sensitive bank login credentials.

Payment must be made only to the official SpyList account through approved payment modes.

6. No Sale of Personal Data

SpyList does not sell professional data to advertisers, lead buyers, brokers, or unrelated third parties.

SpyList does not operate as a lead-selling marketplace.

7. Limited Internal Access

Access to submitted information is limited to authorised SpyList personnel or service support required for the professional invitation workflow, content preparation, payment verification, technical maintenance, legal compliance, or platform operation.

SpyList does not publicly share private contact details beyond what is approved or required for the confirmed profile and selected contact pathways.

8. Public Contact Pathways

If a professional profile is published, approved contact pathways may be shown, such as contact button, WhatsApp button, website link, Instagram link, Google Maps link, or other relevant links where suitable.

Professionals should not submit contact details they do not want used for profile preparation or public contact pathways.

9. Accuracy and Updates

Professionals are responsible for submitting accurate and updated information.

10. Data Retention

SpyList may retain invitation records, confirmation records, payment records, content records, profile preparation data, communication records, and publication records for operational, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and edition management purposes.

Published content may remain visible as part of the relevant live edition unless removed, edited, paused, or updated by SpyList under its policies.

11. Removal Requests

Professionals may request correction, update, or removal of personal information by contacting SpyList.

However, removal may be subject to payment status, legal obligations, accounting requirements, dispute records, content already published, edition policy, and technical limitations.

SpyList may retain necessary records for legal, accounting, security, and compliance purposes even if certain public-facing content is removed.

12. Content Rights and Submitted Material

Professionals must submit only content requested by SpyList.

SpyList may require raw video footage without music, text overlays, third-party branding, unauthorised logos, or prohibited material.

By submitting content, the professional confirms that the content is suitable for SpyList review and may be used for profile preparation, editing, publishing, and official SpyList presentation, subject to SpyList editorial control.

13. Security

SpyList takes reasonable steps to protect submitted information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

However, no online storage, email communication, Google Sheet, website form, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Cookies and Analytics

The professional invitation pages are intended for private invitation and confirmation use.

At present, SpyList does not intend to use public advertising tracking, Meta Pixel, or Google Analytics on these professional invitation pages unless added later with appropriate updates to this Privacy Policy.

15. Children

The professional invitation system is intended for professionals, businesses, and authorised adult representatives. It is not intended for children.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

SpyList may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
